Juicy Mixed Berries with a touch of Lime and a Chocolatey Finish
For over a decade, I've worked with friends in Antigua, where those classic Guatemalan coffee flavors have become wonderfully familiar.
But when Luis Pedro and Melanie introduced me to the exciting coffees from the San Pedro Necta region in western Guatemala, nestled along the soaring mountains of Huehuetenango, I couldn't resist.
Between Melanie's enthusiasm, the fresh perspective of our Saint Frank partners, and the exceptional quality, this coffee demanded to be shared.
The local Mam-speaking farmers named their collective 'Txol Witz' meaning 'Between Hills' - perfectly describing where this fruity, candy-like coffee is crafted.
Special thanks to Yarely, Courtney, and Melanie for making this possible!
