Rudy Yana is the eldest son of Don Pablo Yana now in his second season producing his own coffee. We have worked with Pablo's coffee since 2014 who is one of the elders of the San Ignacio community. Pablo cultivates 3 hectares of coffee of which 1 is Catuai shared with his Son Rudy. Every community meeting we have joined young Rudy is always present taking it all in participating more and more as a young adult. We love supporting this promising new producer! |
Honduras Pompilio Ramos 50% |
Pompilio Ramos is had led a long life in coffee and at 74 years old is still producing exceptional coffee in the village of El Cielito on Santa Barbara Mountain. His heritage Pacas and Catimor trees are picked at peak ripeness over a slow maturing season and undergo a long cold fermentation of 18-20 hours and after three rinses the coffee dries on covered beds for a prolonged 20 days allowing for slow even drying preserving its sweetness and structure.
