Complex and Round Fruit like Mixed Berry and Lemon Lime Dominate with Pleasant Florals throughout
Coffee from Thuti always delivers the dynamic and classic flavors we come to look for in Kenyan Coffees from the Nyeri region but also its own distinctive terroir and character drawn from its leadership and management. Thuti delivers all that coffee lovers are looking for in a Kenyan coffee from its bright lemon-lime soda character to crunchy sweet currant flavors. This coffee is a stunner.
Our relationship with the Othaya Cooperative began with the Karuthi factory but after every visit to the coop and cupping through their coffees we simply could not resist the mouthwatering coffees of Thuti. The Thuti Factory is the founding factory of the Othaya Farmers Cooperative Society which now boasts 19 active factories. Othaya has stood the test of time moreso than any other cooperative society through the integrity and generous strength of its leadership. A creative infrastructure allows them to manage their own milling and marketing with remarkable quality, consistency, and value driven sustainability.
